Fastest modern methods of constructionModuleCo Facilities are manufactured off-site in an enclosed factory environment. Off-site manufacture allows progress to be maintained on programme without being affected by factors such as adverse weather conditions or site access problems.
The fact that the superstructure and ground works / foundations are built at separate locations means that these two phases of the construction can take place simultaneously, allowing this method of fast track construction to create further programme compression. A facility constructed off site with simultaneous preparation of enabling works is ready to use before a comparable sized traditional structure.
As an example, a typical twin theatre suite can be delivered and operational 12-14 weeks from the date on which the order is placed. If built traditionally, this would take 6 - 9 months. Earlier activity is possible generating revenue more speedily and, more importantly, increasing patient throughput and reducing lists.
Company culture has evolved around the fast track expectations of our clients, the team having a detailed understanding of off-site construction and the off-site manufacturing process from inception to handover.
At the root of fast track construction is a truly off-site manufacturing approach to the design of the facility. ModuleCo's expert design team, recently augmented by the acquisition of an architects practice who specialise in modular construction, fully understand and are motivated by achieving the tightest possible timescales by modularisation of the layout and M&E integration.
