ModuleCo provided an operating theatre suite and three-bed first stage recovery to Royal Bournemouth Hospital, on behalf of University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust.
The new theatre will expand the hospital’s Orthopaedic services and allow hundreds of additional operations to take place each year, helping with the backlog of patients requiring elective operations since the pandemic. It forms part of The Derwent building, where elective operations and after care takes place.
The King formally opened the new operating theatre suite in April 2022 during a visit to Royal Bournemouth Hospital.
