Our Design Process

Engagement and Stakeholder Workshops

We run structured, weekly design review workshops tailored to different stakeholder groups, including clinical users, fire officers, estates teams, and Trust executives. Sessions include real-time walkthroughs of the design model, allowing teams to interrogate room layouts, workflows, equipment positioning, and finishes.

Digital Modelling and Visualisation

All projects are developed in 3D Revit and follow ISO 19650 BIM protocols. We create coordinated digital models from RIBA Stage 2 onwards, incorporating:

  • Room-by-room visual data sheets
  • Real-time design renders for virtual walkthroughs
  • Fully coordinated fabrication models pre-construction
Planning Application Support

Off-Site Efficiency By Design

Our design decisions are made with efficiency in mind. This includes optimising layouts for modular deployment, reducing site-based activities, and enabling higher levels of off-site MEP and FF&E integration. We know how to maximise the off-site phase to reduce project duration, disruption, and risk, while maintaining high standards of design and compliance.

We document every design iteration and decision throughout the process. Progress trackers, risk registers, C-sheet updates, and sign-off records ensure transparency and traceability. As-built models and documentation are provided post-handover, forming part of the Golden Thread data set for facilities management and future adaptation.
