Temporary Operating Theatres

Our temporary modular theatres provide fully compliant, high-specification surgical environments for elective and emergency use. Ideal for maintaining surgical capacity during estate works or periods of increased demand, these units are HTM/HBN compliant and delivered with scrub, anaesthetic room, prep room, and dirty utility as standard, with options such as ultra-clean laminar flow ventilation and first stage recovery areas as required. Available on hire, managed service, or usage-based agreements.

Temporary and Decant Wards

We offer high-quality decant ward accommodation for short- or medium-term use during refurbishments or capacity boosts for winter pressures. Designed and built to the same standard as our permanent clinical environments and compliant to HBN/HTM guidelines, our temporary wards can include single or multi-bed layouts, nurse bases, support spaces, and infection control features.

Temporary Diagnostic Imaging Units

Our temporary CT, PET-CT, MRI, X-ray and endoscopy units deliver advanced diagnostic imaging capabilities without compromising on build quality, equipment integration, or HBN/HTM compliance.

Suitable for short-term service continuity or medium-term capacity increases, these units can be fully shielded and designed to house leading OEM scanners, provided with ancillary accommodation as required.

In partnership with our finance partners, we have successfully delivered bespoke MSAs across multiple NHS sites, combining all project and service costs into a single, manageable monthly fee. Our offering includes full project management, building maintenance through planned and reactive works, soft services, and the option to include equipment and consumables, removing the need for additional capital investment. IFRS16 Exempt Usage Based Revenue Solution

A usage-based revenue solution designed to help healthcare providers increase clinical capacity without drawing on capital budgets or impacting CDEL limits. Structured to be IFRS16 exempt, it allows our clients to pay only when the facility is in use, aligning costs directly with surgical activity and improving cost-efficiency. Sulis Hospital Temporary Operating Theatre Suite and Recovery Ward

ModuleCo built a modular operating theatre suite and first stage recovery ward at Sulis Hospital on a temporary hire basis through our partners at MCH. The theatre suite was brand new, specified to the client's requirements, and provided on a 12 month short-term hire.

Neath Port Talbot Hospital Three Theatre Surgical Centre of Excellence

ModuleCo provided a three operating theatre surgical complex at Neath Port Talbot Hospital on a long-term hire basis. The three-storey theatre complex provided the Hospital with three brand-new, state-of-the-art operating theatre suites, five pre-assessment rooms, clinical staff changing rooms, rest areas, and a seminar room, all wrapped up in a rental agreement.
